David

David is a Oaxaqueño musician specializing in therapeutic and ceremonial sound. David plays a variety of flutes and bowed string instruments, including the monochord, pan flutes, bamboo flutes, the rebab, and the cittern. He is passionate about the spiritual character and function of music and began pursuing this path when he was a teenager. For the past 12 years, he has been re-designing instruments to target specific sound vibrations. He has collaborated with Adrianna at a number of ceremonies and retreats, combining the power their voices and instruments to create empowering and sacred music.
